Handmade variation
Every mug is made using a manual process. Small variations in shape, dimensions, glaze color, and pattern are part of the handmade character of each piece. The photographs represent the color combination; your mug may differ slightly from the one shown.
Shipping and backorders
Shipping is $8.50 for orders up to $100. Orders over $100 ship free. The threshold is based on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax. Shipping is available within the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C.; we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or destinations outside the USA. In-stock mugs dispatch within 1–2 days of your order. If your selected color is out of stock, you can order it on backorder; backordered mugs ship in 2–4 weeks. These lead times describe when your mug ships, rather than when it arrives.
If your order includes backordered mugs, including quantities above available stock, the whole order ships together when ready within the 2–4 week backorder lead time.
How this mug is made
I design my mother molds in 3D CAD software, make my own plaster molds from those designs, and use the plaster molds to slipcast my ceramic mugs. The mold design is my own, and the casting and finishing are part of my studio process.
