Each piece is individually hand-drawn and hand-painted with underglazes, then finished with a clear glaze over the artwork. The expressive lines and painted details are part of its handmade character.

How this mug is made
I design my mother molds in 3D CAD software, make my own plaster molds from those designs, and use the plaster molds to slipcast my ceramic mugs. The mold design is my own, and the casting and finishing are part of my studio process.
The artwork on this mug is individually hand-drawn and hand-painted with underglazes, then finished with a clear glaze over the decoration.
