Each ceramic vase begins as a digitally designed form, created using a ceramic 3D extruding process. Once extruded, the piece is refined and straightened by hand, allowing me to adjust proportions and surface details before firing.
After firing, each vase is painted individually using brushes and layered glazes. The florals and birds are applied by hand, making every finished piece unique. While the initial form is created with the help of technology, the final character of each vase comes from hands-on work, careful finishing, and hand-painted detail.
This process allows me to explore forms that would be difficult to achieve on the wheel, while still honoring the quiet, thoughtful nature of ceramic making. The result is a ceramic vase that blends modern methods with traditional surface decoration — designed intentionally and finished by hand.
