Ceramics by Nature

Handbuilt pottery inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world

About the Artist

I’m a ceramic artist based in Georgia, working from my home studio where each piece is made slowly and intentionally by hand.

While I enjoy throwing, my heart is in hand-building and slab work—using clay as a canvas for layered underglaze painting, sgraffito, and intricate surface designs inspired by nature.

I’m especially drawn to creating functional pottery that brings the outdoors in—pieces meant to be used, held, and lived with every day.

Why I Make Pottery

Working with clay keeps me grounded. The slow, tactile process mirrors the rhythms of nature itself—nothing rushed, nothing forced.

I hope my work brings a sense of calm, beauty, and intention into everyday routines.
